OperatingInTheBlack is a full service Alternate Business Financing Consulting Firm that is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs obtain business loans, and credit lines. They contacted Norwebs Designs and we provided a wonderful solution for their business.
Firstly, we got to understand who their typical customers are and then create a design experience around it. We used blue colors and lots of white spaces to create trust, elegance, and transparency, which is what OperatingInTheBlack is about.
Secondly, we made use of light green color as the accent color for the buttons. This is neccessary to show growth and entice the entreprenuer in requesting for a loan via their website. Also, we made sure there is a clear call to action button above the fold.
Thirdly, we made the “request a loan” process an easy and fast one for their customers. No hassle or unneccessary questions are asked. This really increased the number of request they got. Also, we created several informative pages for first time visitors to get acquinted with OperatingInTheBlack and what they do.
Fourthly, we made sure the website is mobile responsive and appears fine in any device you view it on. This is neccessary for SEO and also because most people browse through their smartphones nowadays. We took great care in the speed of the website and made sure we minised the size of images and codes, and used a reliable web hosting company.
In conclusion, we are really happy working on this project. It stretched up and we gain more experience getting it right. At the end, they loved it so much.
